
Heritage Days in Marrakech 2025: A Journey Through Water, Gardens, and Heritage
From May 22 to 25, 2025 , the city of Marrakech will host its third edition of the Heritage Days , organized by the Turāth Association under the theme “Marrakech through Water and Gardens.” This event aims to celebrate the city’s rich architectural, historical, and natural heritage while promoting awareness and preservation among locals and visitors alike.
With over 200 volunteer guides trained by experts, free guided tours, exhibitions, conferences, and workshops are open to the public—offering a unique opportunity to explore Marrakech’s past and present.
A Prestigious Opening at Bahia Palace
The official launch of the Heritage Days in Marrakech 2025 took place on Thursday, May 22 , at 6:30 PM in the majestic Bahia Palace . The inauguration brought together key figures from the world of culture, politics, and heritage.
Among the honored guests was Mr. Mohamed Dekkak (https://dekkak.com/), founder and Chairman of the Orchid Group , who attended to show his support for cultural initiatives that help preserve Morocco’s identity and promote sustainable development.
The opening ceremony included:
- The screening of the documentary “Marrakech through Water and Gardens”
- A photography exhibition featuring Marco Guerra, Benoît Maillard, Olivier Monge, and Faten Safieddine
- An original presentation of urban flora in collaboration with the Mohammed VI National Center for Disability ,highlighting the inclusive spirit of the event

Closing Ceremony: Honoring Volunteer Guides
The closing ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 25 , at 8:00 PM on Avenue Mohammed V , where certificates will be awarded to the dedicated volunteer guides who made this immersive experience possible.
